Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026 · Version: 1.0

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use ADHD Self-Test at adhd-self-test.pages.dev (the "Service"). The Service is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Washington residents and anyone who wants the health-data details should also read our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

The short version

  • Your answers and your result never leave your browser. The six questions are scored by code running on your device. We never receive, upload, or store your answers, your count, or your result.
  • Nothing about your test is saved. Answers are not written to cookies, local storage, or the page address. They disappear when you reload or leave the page.
  • Analytics are off unless you allow them. If you click "Allow analytics", Google Analytics counts page visits and a few button actions, such as "test started" or "test finished". It never receives your answers or result.
  • No advertising trackers. We do not use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or any other advertising pixel, and we do not run ads.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we never sell health data.

1. Your test answers and result

When you pick an answer, your browser keeps it in memory for that page only. When you press "See my result", the browser counts how many answers fall in the screener's shaded range and shows the result on the same page. No network request carries your answers or result, so there is nothing for us to keep, read, or delete. If you choose "Print or save my answers", your browser's print dialog creates the copy on your device; we don't receive it.

2. Information we do collect

  • Hosting data (always). When your browser loads a page, our host Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser type, the address of the page requested, and the time. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. We do not combine it with anything else.
  • Analytics data (only if you allow it). Pages you view, the site that referred you, approximate location (city or country, derived by Google from your IP address), device and browser type, a random cookie ID, and these actions: test started, test finished, result shown, print, opening the strategy guide description, clicks on links to other pages of this site, and how long a page stays open. No answers, counts, or result wording are ever included.
  • Email (only if you write to us). Your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. Please don't send us your test answers or health details; we don't need them to help you.

We don't ask for your name, we don't create accounts, and we don't collect payment information. No paid product is available yet.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Google Analytics loads only after you click "Allow analytics" in the notice at the bottom of the page. If you click "No thanks", or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal and you haven't chosen, Google Analytics is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time with "Analytics settings" in the footer of any page; choosing "No thanks" stops analytics and removes the analytics cookies from this site.

When analytics is on, we turn off Google signals and ad personalization, and we never link Google Analytics to advertising. Analytics event data is kept for 2 months and then deleted by Google.

You can also block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

3. Who processes data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and receives hosting data. https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics) receives analytics data, only if you allow analytics. https://policies.google.com/privacy

They act on our behalf to run the Service. Neither receives your test answers or result. We do not use any other third-party service on this site.

4. How long we keep data

  • Test answers and results: never collected, so never kept.
  • Analytics events: 2 months.
  • Hosting logs: kept by Cloudflare under its own policy; we don't export them.
  • Emails: as long as needed to answer you, then deleted within 12 months.

5. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time with "Analytics settings" in the footer. Email hello@howtallai.com. We answer within 45 days. Because we don't hold your test answers and don't link analytics to your name, we may not be able to find analytics data that belongs to you; we'll tell you if so. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word "Appeal", and we'll respond within 45 days.

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on your consent for analytics and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for hosting data. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Children

The self-test is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because test answers never leave your device, they can't be exposed in a breach of our systems.

8. Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. If we ever want to collect your answers or results, we will ask for your permission first.

Allow analytics? Google Analytics, working for us, would record pages viewed and test steps like "finished", with a cookie ID, device and rough location, to show which pages help. Never your answers or result. Change it any time in the footer. Details Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal is on, so analytics stays off unless you choose Allow analytics.
