Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026 · Version: 1.0

These terms govern your use of ADHD Self-Test at adhd-self-test.pages.dev (the "Service"), operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What the Service does

The Service lets you answer the six questions of the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS v1.1) Screener and shows how many of your answers fall in the screener's shaded range, together with general information about ADHD and where to get help. Scoring runs in your browser; see our Privacy Policy.

2. Not a diagnosis, not medical advice

The Service is a self-screening reference. It does not diagnose ADHD or any other condition, and it is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Only a qualified health care professional can diagnose ADHD. Don't start, stop, or change any treatment because of a result here. Please read our Disclaimer.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or call 911 if you are in immediate danger. Outside the US, contact your local emergency number.

3. Who can use it

The screener is intended for adults 18 and older. You must be at least 18 to use the Service.

4. The screener

The ASRS v1.1 Screener is used as published, with attribution: The 6-question Adult Self-Report Scale-Version1.1 (ASRS-V1.1) Screener is a subset of the 18-question Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale-Version1.1 (Adult ASRSV1.1) Symptom Checklist. © New York University and the President and Fellows of Harvard College. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by New York University, Harvard University, or the World Health Organization.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to screen, label, or make decisions about another person, such as an employee, student, or tenant;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful;
  • interfere with the Service, overload it, or try to bypass its security;
  • scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its content in bulk;
  • use our name or content in a way that suggests we endorse you.

6. Paid features

No paid features are currently available, and we don't collect payment or payment details. A price shown next to a "coming soon" product is tentative and is not an offer to sell. If we launch a paid product, we will publish the price, what you get, and our refund policy before you can buy, and we will update these terms. Your screener result will always be free.

7. Our content

The website's design, text, and code belong to us, except the ASRS v1.1 Screener (see section 4) and quoted material credited to its source. You may use the Service and print your own answers for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing them with your health care provider.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service runs on Cloudflare hosting and, only if you allow it, uses Google Analytics. Their use is subject to their own terms. We link to outside resources such as the 988 Lifeline, NIMH, and SAMHSA for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or stop the Service, or any part of it, at any time. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. A SCREENING RESULT CAN BE WRONG IN EITHER DIRECTION, AND WE DON'T WARRANT THAT ANY RESULT OR INFORMATION IS CORRECT OR COMPLETE FOR YOU.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE BASED ON THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS FREE, SO OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE IT, WHICH IS ZERO (US$0). Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator resides, unless mandatory consumer law of your country says otherwise. Before filing any claim, please contact us first at hello@howtallai.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
